Mighty Jets Feeders FC emerged champions of the NLO Division One League, Jos Centre, after defeating Plateau United U-19 Team 5–4 on penalties following a goalless draw in regulation time at the Jos New Stadium.
The highly competitive final between the Group A and Group B winners produced intensity, physical battles, and several missed opportunities, before the contest was eventually decided from the penalty spot.

Plateau United U-19 started brightly and almost found an early breakthrough inside the opening minute when Micheal Okafor won a corner, but Geoffrey’s header drifted narrowly over the bar.
The young Peace Boys continued to threaten through Abdulrazaq, Ahile, Dasok, and Pindar, combining well in midfield and forcing multiple corners during an encouraging first-half display.
Mighty Jets Feeders, however, remained organised defensively and looked dangerous on transitions, with Plateau United’s backline led by Ashiru and goalkeeper Paul making important interventions to keep the scores level.
The second half remained tightly balanced, with both sides struggling to find the decisive breakthrough despite a number of promising moments.
Substitutions introduced fresh energy for Plateau United U-19, with Ibrahim Umar and Emmanuel Kyaharkat making immediate impact in attacking areas.
One of the biggest moments of the match arrived late in the game when Ibrahim rattled the crossbar from a free kick before Okafor fired the rebound wide in what proved to be Plateau United’s clearest chance of the afternoon.
After regulation time ended 0–0, the match proceeded to penalties, where Mighty Jets Feeders held their nerve to claim a dramatic 5–4 shootout victory.
With the victory, Mighty Jets Feeders were confirmed as Plateau State champions and will now represent the state at the NLO playoffs, where they will battle the champions from Niger, Benue, and Kwara States for a place in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
