The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Jos, has begun offering full physiotherapy services a major step toward delivering more holistic and patient-centered care in Plateau State and surrounding areas.
Now fully operational within the hospital premises, the Physiotherapy Outpatient Clinic focuses on improving recovery, mobility, and pain management through tailored treatment plans. According to Meshak Rinret, the hospital’s Information Officer, the new service reflects a commitment to innovation and better patient outcomes.
The clinic runs every Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., providing care for musculoskeletal conditions, neurological cases, post-surgical rehab, and other movement-related issues. Expert physiotherapists offer personalized care based on each patient’s needs.
Patients can access the service through referrals or as walk-ins. The hospital sees this addition as a milestone in its mission to provide comprehensive orthopaedic and rehabilitative care while meeting the growing demand for physiotherapy in the region.
