Half Kilo creatively introduces imaginary characters who are very popular among his audience because his skits are mostly phone calls either to his girlfriend Kanny, or his friends Nanle and Badung. What stands out for me is not just the humour, but his relationship with Kanny which fully displays the tolerance, contentment, and forgiveness of the Plateau State People. Despite being poor, the fights, the troubles and fall outs, they still stick with each other.

Dan Anga’s content is hilarious, but at the same time, it puts the Ngas culture in the spotlight. He’s  made his identity central to his comedy, and has created a unique brand that appeals to both Plateau State People and people who enjoy humor with a touch of cultural identity.

If you’ve ever watched MC DDK, you’ll know why he’s on very fast hot demand. His skits bring to life the character as an old Reverend with a very strong Mwaghavul accent. MC DDK isn’t just funny, his contents are deeply relatable. With over 45,000 followers across platforms, MC DDK is not yet as big as the others, but his uniqueness is what sets him apart.
His ability to humorously act out the quirks of an elderly village Reverend resonates strongly with his audience, especially those who grew up in rural Plateau and have experienced a Local but active Reverend. MC DDK is currently one of the most featured skit makers because his uniqueness enables him to possess the ability to fit into and improve every possible comedy skit he’s part of.
