The Christian Rural and Urban Development Association of Nigeria (CRUDAN) has lauded the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for his inclusive style of governance and unwavering commitment to humanitarian development across the state.

Speaking during a Thank-You Visit to the Government House, CRUDAN’s Executive Director, Mr. Joseph Lander Gyandi, described Governor Mutfwang’s leadership as people-centered and anchored on strategic collaboration aimed at improving the quality of life for citizens.
He highlighted the administration’s achievements in agriculture, particularly the fertilizer engagement and distribution programme, which he said has boosted food production and enhanced economic growth in rural communities.

Mr. Gyandi reaffirmed CRUDAN’s commitment to supporting government initiatives through peacebuilding, skills development, and humanitarian services that cut across religious and ethnic divides. “Our mission is about serving humanity without boundaries, and we are eager to deepen our partnership with government in empowering communities,” he noted.

In his response, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep appreciation for CRUDAN’s selfless contributions to the people of Plateau State, describing the organization as a strong pillar in promoting social cohesion, faith-based development, and poverty alleviation.
“I want to thank CRUDAN for the burden you have carried for both our rural and urban communities, especially for people of faith,” the Governor stated. “Even more remarkable is hoyou have reached across divides to touch lives this is truly commendable.”

Governor Mutfwang further emphasized that the greatest challenge facing the state is not only insecurity but also poverty, stressing that tackling poverty is at the heart of his administration’s vision. “Anything we do to lift people out of poverty is part of the Gospel,” he added.
He reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to strengthen partnerships with organizations like CRUDAN in driving holistic development through culture, faith, and rural enterprise. The Governor also recalled Plateau’s historic achievements in poultry breeding and called for renewed collaboration and innovation to revive such initiatives.

“Let us continue to engage, collaborate, and build together for a better Plateau,” Governor Mutfwang charged.
